The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, received the Ambassador of Denmark, Mr. Steen Sonne Andersen, at the Presidential Palace.
The discussions centered on strengthening the bilateral relationship between Denmark and Somaliland. The two sides also addressed ongoing joint development initiatives, Somaliland’s upcoming elections, and broader issues concerning peace and security in the Horn of Africa region.
Accompanying the President at the meeting was the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Dr. Essa Kayd Mohamoud. Ambassador Andersen was joined by the Head of Denmark’s Office in Somaliland, Mr. Mathias Kjaer.
