The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, today welcomed the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative, Ambassador James Swan, to the Presidential Palace during his official visit to the country.
The meeting centered on key issues including the overall situation in the Horn of Africa, the upcoming elections in Somaliland, and the ongoing cooperation between the Republic of Somaliland and the United Nations.
President Bihi was accompanied by Minister of Interior Mohamed Kahin Ahmed, Minister of Planning and National Development H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Diriye (Toorno), and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Rooda Jama Elmi. Ambassador Swan was joined by members of his team, including Obinna Okamgba, Nikolai, Dana Palade, Ahmed Qalinle, Dahir Mohamed Dahir, and Mustafa Khaire.
