The House of Representatives has today approved the first group of Cabinet Ministers nominated by His Excellency President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi.
In line with the constitutional mandate, 19 Ministers appeared before the House of Representatives to seek approval for their appointments. Each Minister delivered a brief presentation outlining their vision and strategic priorities for their respective ministries, emphasizing their commitment to advancing the development and prosperity of the Republic of Somaliland.
The Ministers highlighted key initiatives aligned with the National Development Plan (NDP-3) and the political program of the WADDANI Party, demonstrating their dedication to delivering on the government’s agenda for progress and accountability.
Following the presentations, the Speaker of the House called for an individual vote of approval for each Minister. The House, in an overwhelming show of confidence, unanimously endorsed all 19 nominees.
His Excellency President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi extends his heartfelt appreciation to the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives for their support and confidence in the new Cabinet. Their approval paves the way for the Ministers to embark on their crucial work to implement the government’s vision for a united and prosperous Somaliland.
