Today, the President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), accompanied by Vice President H.E. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, held a historic consultative meeting with former Presidents and Vice Presidents of Somaliland.
The meeting underscored the enduring unity and collaboration among Somaliland’s leadership. Distinguished attendees included:
- H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, 5th President of Somaliland
- H.E. Dahir Riyale Kahin, 3rd President of Somaliland
- H.E. Ahmed Yusuf Yasin, 3rd Vice President of Somaliland
- H.E. Abdirahman Aw Ali Farah, 2nd Vice President of Somaliland
H.E. Abdirahman Abdillahi Ismail (Saylici), the 4th and 5th Vice President, could not attend the meeting due to the passing of his mother. The President and former leaders offered their heartfelt condolences to him and his family.
Bashe Mohamed Farah, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, participated in the discussions, while H.E. Hassan Essa Jama, the 1st Vice President, was absent due to health issues. The attendees prayed for his quick recovery.
The consultations focused on pressing national issues, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing matters of priority for the Republic of Somaliland.
