The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, along with his delegation, received a warm reception today in Qorilugud district, Buhoodle region, as part of their ongoing business trip to the eastern regions of the country.
The community of Qorilugud, led by cultural leaders and the district administration, greeted the president and his delegation with enthusiasm. Waving the flag of the Republic of Somaliland and holding wet leaves, they welcomed the delegation at the northern entrance of Qorilugud town. Here, the president and his team addressed the gathered crowd.
In their speeches, local chiefs, traditional leaders, and district officials expressed their support for the president and the KULMIYE party’s candidates. They emphasized the area’s strong backing for the party’s leadership.
Members of the cabinet who accompanied the president expressed their gratitude for the warm reception. They urged the people of Qorilugud to maintain unity and strength in defense of the country.
In his address, President Muse Bihi Abdi thanked the people of Qorilugud for their hospitality. He praised the community as a national symbol of Somaliland’s defense and protection of its sovereignty.
