His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Musa Bihi Abdi, attended a wide-ranging celebration and dinner event, held at the presidential palace complex, to mark the 32nd anniversary of Somaliland’s Independence Day.
The President was accompanied by the Speaker of Guurti (Upper House), Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Cabinet Ministers, and a number of high-ranking gov’t officials. The ceremony also attracted distinguished guests from neighboring countries as well as the international community, to mark and celebrate this special occasion with the Republic of Somaliland.
President Bihi, who concluded the ceremony, congratulated Somalilanders everywhere on the commemoration of the National Day of 18 may and sent special congratulations to the various forces of the country.
