The President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Muse Bihi Abdi, on behalf of himself, the government and the people of Somaliland, sends his condolences to the family and relatives of the late Mohamud Sheikh Abdullahi Ige who passed away yesterday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The president described the deceased as a veteran politician who dedicated himself to the people of Somaliland. Over the course of his life, he has held multiple positions in our government including the Governor of Awdal region and the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications from which the impact of his decades of devoted public work is evident. His legacy will live on not only through his family, but in all the important works he shaped for our nation. May God have mercy on him.
