The Presidency of the Republic of Somaliland and the Embassy of Somaliland in the UK donate a modern vehicle and another to the Ministry of Health Development.
Hargeisa-20-06-2021 – (MT-JSL) – The Director General of the Presidency of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Bile, and the Ambassador of Somaliland to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Abdi Abdillahi, today met with the officials from the Ministry of Health and handed over a mobile laboratory for operations outside the country’s major cities and another tow truck, donated by the President to the Ministry of Health.
Somaliland’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Abdi Abdilahi, first handed over the fully equipped mobile laboratory, and added a new donated vehicle to the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Somaliland, which will tow the laboratory and has a modern type of tires designed for out-of-town service.
The handover ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace and was attended by the Minister of Health, Dr. Omar Ali Abdilahi, the Director General of Health, Dr. Mohamed Abdi Hergeeye, Somaliland Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Abdi Abdilahi, Director of the Department of Diaspora at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Saad Mohamed Abdi Geddo, Director of the National Library, Mr. Ahmed Dahir and Director General of the Presidency, Mr. Mohamed Ali Bile, who made a statement thanking the President and all those who contributed to this important contribution to the health care of citizens, especially the diaspora and some of Somaliland’s ambassadors abroad.
The Director General of the Presidency, Mr. Mohamed Ali Bile, and the Ambassador of Somaliland to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Abdi Abdilahi, handed over the keys to the vehicles to the officials of the Ministry of Health who were present at the forum, who officially took over the vehicles and the modern laboratory equipment accompanying it.
